His dermatology residency training occurred at Botsford Hospital and McLaren Hospital through Michigan State University. Dr. Jensen is well-versed in treating the skin in all areas of dermatology. He can accurately diagnose and treat subtle skin disorders and suggest appropriate treatments. He studied Mohs Micrographic Surgery during his residency and was certified as a Fellow Member of the American Society of Mohs Surgery. This process is both tissue-sparing, which reduces the risk of cancer recurrence, and improves cosmetic outcomes by acting as both pathologist and reconstructor. This therapy ensures optimal outcomes, making it highly effective. During his dermatology residency, he also received a lot of training in aesthetic medicine and laser use.
